COOLING WITH CO2 FROM WACHTEL
CO2, or R744 according to its chemical name, is a naturally occurring refrigerant. It is a component of air and (with a GWP of 1) has the lowest global warming potential of all refrigerants. Technically speaking, it is actually climate neutral.
In terms of energy performance, in the past, CO2 was worse than other refrigerants. But today, CO2 technology is so advanced that it is now absolutely as good as other refrigerants.
