Fruit and vegetable calibrator – Drum calibrator
The drum calibrator, depending on the type of drum itself, is designed for sorting frozen fruits and vegetables according to their diameter. It can also be used for fresh or frozen mushrooms, e.g. champignons.
The drum and the design of the calibrator are selected according to the product and the process.
The diameter of the perforation determines the size of the sorted product. The perforation can also be of different sizes, according to the customer’s requirements. Depending on the individual needs, it is possible to adjust the drum speed and the angle of its operation.
Vibration calibrator for Fruits and vegetables
The Vibrating Calibrator is designed for sorting mushrooms, vegetables and fruits into fractions. The calibration size is adjusted by setting variable sieve levels with appropriately selected perforations.
The Vibrating Calibrator is designed for calibration of round products. For maximum performance, the calibrator should be loaded evenly across the entire width.
The vibration calibrator can be supplied as a single unit or as a set of separate hoppers. Typical equipment configurations include 2 or 3 sieves for calibration with appropriately selected gaps.
Fruit and vegetable calibrator – grid
The belt calibrator is designed to calibrate round products into fractions. The calibration process is carried out by vibrating perforated belts with specific cells.
Moving along the equipment, the products fall into the cells appropriate to their size, the cells on the line start from the smallest to the largest. Depending on the desired number of sizes to be calibrated, the belt line can have a different number of blocks with belts of the corresponding size.
From each belt unit, the calibrated product is fed into a collector or further along the processing line to a packaging device.
Roller calibrator for fruit and vegetables
The Roller Calibrator is designed for size sorting of fruits and vegetables, including elongated products such as carrots and cucumbers.
The calibration gap is determined by changing the distance of the upper roller guide relative to the lower roller chain. The calibrator sorts according to the smallest product size.
The device can be equipped with three conveyors that collect separate fractions of raw materials. The product, which exceeds the maximum size set in the last section, is sent to a container or transported by a belt conveyor to another processing stage.
Fruit and vegetable belt calibrator
The belt calibrator is designed for sorting berries, mushrooms and fruits. It is ideal for delicate products such as plums, strawberries, apricots peach and other berries and fruits.
Structurally, it is a support frame with straps stretched over it, the distance between which gradually increases as you move away from the machine entrance. The equipment can also be supplied in the form of separate devices connected to each other.
Fruit and berries are fed into the calibrator by an inclined belt conveyor. Products can be calibrated into different fractions. The calibration area can be adjusted to different sizes by changing the initial and final belt spacing.
Cable calibrator
The calibrator is primarily intended for calibration of elongated vegetables (cucumbers, carrots), but other products such as potatoes can also be calibrated on this device.)
Structurally, it is a support frame with cables stretched over it, the distance between which gradually increases as you move away from the machine entry.
Vegetables are fed into the calibrator by an inclined belt conveyor-lifter, orientated along the cables. The size of the calibration is regulated by setting the appropriate distances of the chain guides at the beginning and end of the device. It is possible to produce up to 5 fractions with different sizes of vegetables or carrots.
Optical sorter for fruit and vegetables
Optical sorting machines can be supplied in different configurations and features, which are determined by the type of product and your process.
The optical sorter verifies the product on the conveyor belt. The unit is designed to inspect agricultural food products, whole and cut fruits and vegetables.
The sorter can provide the following culling functions, namely: colour, rotten products, foreign bodies even of the same colour as the good product. The product is then fed onto a belt for inspection.
The system is equipped with an air culling system with a large number of valves that remove culled products. The system can also have two culling systems that distinguish between unusable defects and defects that define products as second grade.
