Principle of operation of a drum-type washing machine
Drum-type sinks are a perforated drum that rotates, it is located at an angle, vegetables and water are fed inside. Under the influence of gravity, due to the inclination of the drum, the vegetables gradually pass through the drum and are poured into the vegetable receiver. Washing is carried out by rubbing the vegetables against each other and the drum wall. Such a machine is suitable for potatoes, carrots and other damage-resistant vegetables. Washing in such a machine is not very thorough, dirt may remain on the product in uneven areas. In addition, vegetables can be damaged, which reduces the shelf life.
