CO₂ refrigeration project for Metro
METRO company is one of the first retailers in Ukraine to install a cooling system based on natural refrigerant CO₂ (R744) in its shopping center.
Work Performed:
- Calculation and supply of equipment, installation materials and purified CO₂ from EU countries.
- Provision of logistic services for equipment delivery
- Installation of cooling station, ejector, gas cooler, control panels.
- Manufacturing and installation of power distribution board
- Manufacturing and installation of control boards for cold rooms
- Installation of engineering networks (CO₂ pipelines for 40 and 120 bar pressure, power and low-current networks)
- Installation and calibration of CO₂ sensors
- Installation of refrigeration equipment (evaporators, ice maker, commercial equipment)
- Installation of heat recovery system from the refrigeration station
- Installation of a hot water supply circuit for all consumers of the shopping center from the heat recovery system with installation of a heat accumulator for 2.5 m².
- Design, manufacture and installation of a heat pump with a capacity of 150 kW for the heating system of the shopping center, the low-potential heat source for which is the secondary heat of the cooling station.
- Reconstruction of the centralized heating system of the shopping center in order to maximize the use of the secondary heat of the refrigeration stations and to save heating gas as much as possible.
- Start-up and adjustment works
