Skinning lines for meat processing
Skinning lines are available for different types of meat and can be supplied semi-automated or non-automated.
A conventional line involves a conveyor that moves the carcasses to a platform where the operator manually removes the skin.
A semi-automatic line involves equipment that, at the operator’s command, removes the skin by pulling it from top to bottom with the help of hooks that are fixed by the operator before the process starts.
Machines for skinning livestock carcasses
Skinning machines are available for different types of livestock. Machines can be automatic, semi-automatic or manual, with a range of widths from relatively small to large for larger animals.
Skinning machines comply with hygienic standards, the process of skinning takes place from top to bottom or vice versa, in the first case preventing contamination of the carcass, and do not require additional attachments.
To increase efficiency, the device can be equipped with an electric stimulator with two electrodes that causes muscle contraction during the skinning process, which reduces the likelihood of damage to the carcass.
